Description

Melgisorb Ag is a high-capacity antimicrobial alginate dressing impregnated with silver particles. When it contacts wound exudate, the calcium alginate fibers convert into a moist gel that supports healing while the silver provides a sustained antimicrobial effect for up to 4 days. This extra-large 8″ x 12″ format is specifically engineered for heavily exuding, infected wounds (or those at risk of infection) with very large surface areas, such as significant surgical dehisced wounds or donor sites.
