The Tandem t:slim X2 is a durable, external ambulatory insulin pump featuring a high-contrast color touchscreen and a slim, watertight design. It is the first pump capable of remote software updates, allowing users to add new features, like advanced algorithms or CGM integrations, without needing to replace the hardware.
Powered by Control-IQ technology, the pump communicates with compatible CGMs to predict glucose levels 30 minutes in advance. It automatically adjusts basal insulin delivery and can deliver correction boluses to help prevent both hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia.
